Easter Music Turn-In

Choir Members ... hope all of you are doing well and staying "COVID-Safe."  Miss you all and miss lifting voices up with you in Praise!

Well.... looks like it may still be a while before we are presenting those Easter Concert pieces we were working on.  Many of you picked up music and a demo CD when we went home back in March.  If you would, find those and, at your convenience, return them to the church.  You can sort them out to folders in the Choir room, or, just turn them in at the church office.  Thanks.

Several of you have picked up your Easter Music and demo CD.  If you have not, please do.  Your time singing through these songs will not be in vain.  The songs/music WILL be presented (at some time).

Praying for all of you that God is keeping you close to Him sharing His love, peace and protection with you all.

Well, these are 'interesting' days we live in.
The Coronavirus has certainly thrown us all a curve in many ways.

We have postponed Choir Practices for now.  
     I have put together a practice CD for us.
     Come by the church at your convenience and pick one up along with your Easter music folder.
          This will at least give us a chance to sing along and keep the songs fresh on our minds.
          The CD's are in a box (see photo) on the front row of the Choir Loft.

We'll ride this out and see where it takes us.

This Sunday (June 24, 2018) will be our new organists first Sunday playing with us.  We welcome Sharron Yancy to the organ and look forward to wonderful ministry with her at Christ Central.

Be sure to invite folks to come and sing with us during our Summer Open Choir Season.  Just come warm-up with us at 10:40 on Sunday morning in the Choir Room.  All singers are welcome!

FYI - This week's anthem (Dec. 17) will be "Welcome to Our World" and we'll use "Child of Peace and Love" for Dec. 24.

Yes, it's that time of the year.  We'll begin work on our Easter Music this Sunday (February 26) with Anthem Practice at 4:30 and Easter Music Practice at 5:00.

PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE invite others to come sing with us.  We NEED a big group to appropriately share some of our pieces this year.

Looks like we are going to be a little short of our February Sunday morning Choir attendance goal ... Let's come on strong for March!!!
